 What you will do after graduation:

• you will be able to use numerous IT tools for your work,
• you can work as an actuary, whether you will be valuing risky financial projects and estimating risks,
• you will find yourself in insurance, financial, investment, consultancy or banking companies,
• you may be involved in market analysis, financial planning, strategy development,
• or you will be working on the stock market.

The first-cycle programme includes a 3-week work placement, which allows students to develop skills in the practical application of mathematical tools in financial issues, in the use of IT tools for data processing and presentation, in building data mining models and applying them to forecast selected economic, financial and social processes, and in establishing professional contacts. The ability to apply theoretical mathematical knowledge in practice increases opportunities on the labour market.
