W dniach 1-11 października studenci zagraniczni Erasmus+ w UPH mieli okazję uczestniczyć w bogatym programie wydarzeń w ramach Orientation Week, zorganizowanych dla nich przez Dział Nauki i Współpracy z Zagranicą oraz Uczelniany Ośrodek Kultury.
W pierwszym tygodniu nasi goście poznali najważniejsze zabytki Siedlec oraz zwiedzili największe zakłady produkcyjne w regionie: „Mostostal” i „Stadler”. W piątek (4.10) uczestniczyli natomiast w wycieczce do Woli Gułowskiej, gdzie mieści się Muzeum Czynu Bojowego Kleeberczyków, a następnie udali się do Woli Okrzejskiej, by zwiedzić Muzeum H. Sienkiewicza. Punktem kulminacyjnym tygodnia była niedzielna wycieczka do Warszawy, w trakcie której nasi Erasmusi odwiedzili Łazienki Królewskie, Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego oraz Zamek Królewski. W czasie wolnym mieli okazję również pospacerować uliczkami Starego Miasta.
Drugi tydzień przyniósł nie mniej atrakcji. Zagraniczni studenci Erasmus+ udali się tym razem do Muzeum Regionalnego i Planetarium, a wieczorem wzięli udział w karaoke w klubie studenckim PeHa. W kolejnych dniach zwiedzili Muzeum Diecezjalne w Siedlcach ze słynnym obrazem El Greco „Ekstaza Św. Franciszka”. Mieli również okazję spróbować swoich sił przy radiowym mikrofonie w siedzibie Katolickiego Radia „Podlasie”.
W ciągu tych dwóch tygodniu, oprócz wydarzeń kulturalno-rozrywkowych, nasi goście uczęszczali także na lektorat języka polskiego i wiedzy o Polsce, który z pewnością przybliżył im nasz kraj i pomógł zaaklimatyzować się w nowym środowisku. Życzymy im dużo sukcesów i powodzenia na studiach w naszej uczelni!

On 1-11 October foreign Erasmus+ students at UPH had an opportunity to participate in an extensive program of events as part of the Orientation Week, organized for them by the Research and International Relations Office and the University Center for Culture.
During the first week our guests got to know the most important monuments of Siedlce and visited the largest production plants in the region: "Mostostal" and "Stadler". On Friday (4.10), they took part in a trip to Wola Gułowska, where the II World War Museum is located. Later they went to Wola Okrzejska to visit the H. Sienkiewicz Museum. The biggest attraction of the first week was the Sunday trip to Warsaw, during which our Erasmus students visited The Royal Łazienki Museum, the Warsaw Rising Museum and the Royal Castle in Warsaw Museum. In their free time they also had a chance to stroll through the streets of the Old Town.
The second week brought further attractions. This time Erasmus + students went to the Planetarium and the Regional Museum in Siedlce. In the evening they took part in a karaoke party at the PeHa Student Club. In the following days they visited the Diocesan Museum in Siedlce with the famous El Greco painting "Ecstasy of St. Francis ". They also had an opportunity to try themselves as radio speakers at the Catholic Radio "Podlasie" seat.
Apart from cultural and entertainment events, our guests also attended a Polish language and culture course which certainly brought our country closer to them and helped them adapt to the new environment. We wish them a lot of success and good luck in their studies at our university!
